I have to admit that 80-vpp.conf is there because VPP is not following sysctl.d documentation, but again until the above commit will be merged, no further vhost development will be stable. Not even mentioning full box. And next thing I do not still understand is why Nexus build of vpp is working but pre-compiled not? On Monday call I said that the whole compilation process need to be checked by VPP because clearly there is something wrong. Have someone from vpp-dev take a look why there is dependency on this file (nexus builds are working)?
