A Swedish Mayan calendar researcher, Carl Johan Calleman, thinks that the end date of this world period is October 28th 2011. He also thinks that it is not the end of the world but the beginning of the new era.

Also this explains his affiliations on Swedish. So I would think that this verifies the idea that megawatt demonstration has absolutely nothing to do with the Customer, but it is just the style of man himself. This kind of metaphoric choice of date could also explain why he chose his irrational strategy that he did everything alone and avoided mass media attention like a plaque. But his only message was from the beginning, that the End of October will decide whether this technology is valid or not. Not any sooner. Rossi's famous quote: No more demonstrations before October. And in October, demonstration will be big. I just hope, that Jed is not right that it will be too grandiose scale demonstration. –Jouni
