And why the heck didn't they use the SD card to record and then publish all
data points?!? Instead of relying on Lewan to write down the temperature
from time to time.

Rossi is a great scientist, and a good person in many ways. Yet although he
used a 250 Euro meter, with great capabilities, he did not to the trouble to
zero it before the test, and record the data on an SD card. That's sloppy. I
hate to say this, but to me, he expresses contempt for his audience. This
says "I won't bother to spend 10 minutes making this convincing. You can
take or leave it. Don't ask me to lift a finger in preparation."

He didn't even have to do anything himself. He could have asked me, or any
of dozens of other people, to come a few days early to prepare things like
this. I can read the manual and figure out how to use the SD card, or
install a bucket and utility pump. I could have looked at that setup and
improved it tremendously in a day or two. I and others were bombarding him
with suggestions. If he had done only a few of them it would have been much
easier to understand, and more convincing.
