This is one of the most sobering things I have seen in a long time.
God only knows what the effect of it all will be in the end. 10,000+ dead in a
virtual blink of the eye. Radiation. Mass destruction. Lives destroyed or
forever altered.
My wife has a friend who is Japanese. We aren't sure what part of Japan she
lives in currently, but we can't contact her.
I do not have much, but if anyone on here knows of any sort of relief fund
private individuals can give to, please let me know. I'd like to do something.
Even if it is more or less deluding myself into thinking I could actually do
anything to make a difference. If it buys someone something to eat, I guess it
means something.
It sort of puts things into perspective. People are screaming about pensions
and the almighty dollar. But now there are 10,000 people who will never see
another day.
