I am going to ask the Vorts out there for a little help. I don't like
Relativity. I have an instinctive aversion to the way the Lorentz
transformations are described, explained, and applied. I think there is
another
way to explain most of the experimental proof of these topics.

In the name of science, I would like the collective power of the Vortex-L to
help me with MY Gedanken experiment.

So lets say we have a train, that travels at a significant fraction of c, say
90%. This train is equipped with devices that can read a signal from a point
on
the track as it is passed, and devices which can mark a point on the track.

In 1 car there is an observer. That same car also contains a photon source.
When
the train passes a certain point on the track, the photon source releases 4
photons, in the 4 cardinal directions (assuming direction of travel to be N).
These 4 photons activate sensors placed 5' from the source. The sensors in
turn mark the track at the exact point where the photon hits the detector.

Assuming no lag in the control mechanisms, so that the only time delay in the
system is the time it takes a photon to travel 5', what would an observer
stationary wrt the track see? What pattern would the 4 marks on the track make?

If another car in the train, following after the first, were to have the
opposite setup, where 4 detectors released photons at the instant they passed
over the marks from the previous car, and those photons activated a recording
device at the center of the 5' pattern, would the photons hit the recorder at
the same time?

The reason I need help is my transformational math is rusty, and I need someone
to help me figure this out.
