Your reasons for posting in vortex-b are clear, but I have to disagree with what you are doing.
If you want to post ot stuff, and you want to play by the vortex rules, I suggest that you announce in vortex-l that you have a bunch of stuff that is dear to your heart that you want to post, but that it is ot so you are going to post it in vortex-b. You might add a little teaser to make it sound exciting. Remind the vortex-l readers that they can subscribe to vortex-b by sending an email to [email protected], with a subject of: subscribe. Then mention that vortex-b is not being used to speak of and that if they subscribe they will not be bombarded with anything except the really interesting stuff that you are going to post there. Reading that, it sounds like a poor way to convince anybody to read your stuff, but what can you do if you are going to follow the vortex rules?
