Well, I'm thinking, if there were any limitations to filming, the securityguards would've said something. Right? If they weren't doing their job and I got away with photos and video, then too bad - but I think everyone would've just stopped listening to Steorn if they had gone and forbidden any video + photos - it'd be equivalent to them throwing themselves in front of a speeding train.
