>From Mr. Lawrence: ...
> This is not the behavior of someone [Newman] who is confused or ignorant. > A confused, ignorant person who didn't quite understand what he was doing > would not see the need to dodge the "trap" in the question, "what is the > output power?". An honest person would try, honestly, to answer the > question. > > You can debate, discuss, or argue with someone who is merely stupid or > ignorant. If, however, they are dishonest, have a hidden agenda, and > know that their claims are bogus, you can't. I remember that incident. I also recall that you got a few obnoxious emails. My sympathies! FWIW, I added my own two cents, something to the effect that those minions who did Newman's eMail bidding got to wear white lab coats and look important. I have a personal comment. I could be wrong but my personal assessment of Newman is that he has deliberately fooled himself. He has to. Waking up at this late juncture in his life would be unacceptable. I'm reminded of a fragment from a poem from a famous poet: He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, He is a fool. Shun him. Was that from Carl Sanburg?
