I'm going to try a quick test of Oriani's "radioacive electrolysis"
phenomenon.  No D2O needed, just platinum wire, lithium electrolyte, and a
sheet of CR-39 polymer film, and a 4-day run.  Some hot NaOH to expose the
tracks.  A microscope to view them.  (Someone should be selling a student
kit!)
