Vorts,

I contantacted them and got the reply that their device has a quarter million very small IR reasonators that feed a 50 ohm load resistor which heats as the reasonators cool. I sent them the link on flexible material filled with nano antennas which sounds similar. They would like to have a 30 THz rectifier. I reminded them of the W needle / thin insulator / Ni baseplate diode which rectified light to determine the frequency in ~1971 Applied Physics Letters.

Aloha,
Charlie

Is this FE claim familiar to anyone here? Or is it a new one?

This company sells industrial and astronomy CCD cameras, so perhaps they experiment with chip fab? So they can can try out "thermal noise rectifiers" that violate 2nd Las? See: http://www.theimagingsource.com/en/products/

The inventor is apparantly in the USA this week...
