In a prior post I mentioned we had " pitting" on some UHMW polyethelene
units returned from chlorine gas feed service.
Everyone knows UHMW is not attacked by cavitation and does not "pit".
You may ask Kowalski and/or Frank Gordon if they would like us to ship them
an example. The pitting is like a 'needle prick" some of which is up to .375
inch depth ( you can imagine a tiny vortex acting on that surface )
