From the Hartmann (German) forum, which is the focal point for many of
the now world-wide cadre of "wire-heads" (circuit builders) who have
replicated the Stiffler circuit and effect, comes a few quotes (along
with my 'first-blush' commentary):
"I am very puzzled by being able to light those LEDs with so little
power. I measured again last night the current in/out and it is very
interesting that the P-in current is less than .1 milliamp and the out
can be as high as 20milliamp. Voltage has been very difficult to
measure, it affects everything. I will take some shots of the
oscilloscope from many different places in the circuit."
>>>> OK - This is in keeping with the scope shots on DrS's page where
he shows an extraordinary current going to ground. As predicted, a few
commentators have opined that instead of the current going to ground, it
is "coming from ground". I suppose that as far as free energy goes, it
really doesn't matter, so long as "ground" everywhere on earth can be
utilized for this - and it is NOT a local ground loop relic (it isn't).
Plus there is no measurable current "coming from" ground with any other
standard device in place of the Stiffler circuit... Plus it is possible
to eliminate it with the lights still going. All of which indicates, to
couch the phenomenon in other terminology, an "energy sucking" (quasi)
antenna, but not as ever anticipated previously, since it works on
earth-ground but w/o ground-looping.
"It seams that If I decouple the signal from the func-gen from the
circuits I can run many more circuits at the same time with no logical
reason from where the power is coming from. (I know this sounds crazy,
but hey, Dr. Stiffler started all)."
>>>> Yes. It sounded so crazy to assorted vorticians that many normally
open-minded commentators fell head over heels into a lurking
skeptastrophe-grave, appropriately over Halloween.
"One more note: I tried last night also using a long, very long cable
about 50 feet, to feed the system. It is a lamp wire with two lines, I
connected the func-gen (one lead only) to one wire and on the other end
I connected the OTHER wire to the circuit and it all works still, even
though they are no longer the same wire (I will show later in a
diagram). Interesting stuff. Now here is the trick, when the signal
comes into the circuit from the "not same wire" I have no current at all
in the ground but when they are the "same wire" there is current on the
ground."
>>> It just gets curiouser and curiouser... but at the same time, this
independent level of confirmation tends to affirm everything DrS was
seeing, but in other areas of the world, where there is no AM or FM
reception at all.
