Google Trends distinguishes between cold fusion and the program ColdFusion. It also distinguishes between "cold fusion" as a topic and a search term. See: https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q= Cold%20fusion,%2Fm%2F023c2,%2Fm%2F020w81 For Google Alerts, I use a search term that filters out references to the program: cold fusion -coldfusion -"web hosting" This seldom brings me anything about the program. - Jed
