It has a coil that rotates within another coil (Ref the link to the picture above). When the fields of the two coils are aligned in phase the composite inductance of the two coils in series is at maximum. When the inner coil is rotated 180 within the outer coil the fields of the the two conductors cancel. The composite inductance of the two coils is at minimum. This variation in inductance tunes the radio. No other radio was ever built like this. Later models employed tuning capacitors. The inductance of an electrical circuit is mathematically equivalent to the inertial mass of moving matter. Capacitance is equivalent to the reciprocal of the elastic constant of a mechanical system. If a rotating superconductive disk can produce a strong gravitomagnetic field rotating it with respect to moving matter will increase or decrease the inertial mass of the composite system. This is conceptually equivalent to tuning the Radiola 3. Perhaps I should incorporate the Radiola analogy into my book. My book demonstrates that this is what happens during the quantum transition. With this type of technology we may be able to reach the starts. Unfortunately after 4 years of being out there the book has gained no traction.
