Bummer...

(watch the video)

Definitely reeks of foul play.... Let me see if I've got the details of this announcement straight. They have a winning product (the video is super impre$$ive)... and they easily took in at least $34,000,000 interest free (an additional $20 mil reported). They are supposedly "out of money", or so they say. They cannot find a proper investor, or so they say... yet they are going to return the entire $34,000,000 (with no interest).

Are they really shutting the doors or is this just a ruse with the changing of a few names?

Hmm... it sounds to the cynic like "someone else" came along and made an offer they can't refuse. Rather than honor preorders at a loss or small gain, they are opting to return those funds, interest free. This stinks and raises red flags. There is probably some small print in the initial offer which allows this, but it still stinks... unless it is really a bona fide business closure, which is doubtful.

It would be nice to imagine that our Pentagon is foresightful enough to see the threat posed by these units, but the odds are than a well-heeled investor has come along and orchestrated an alternative arrangement -- at the last minute; and will sell the units for much more than $900... and for uses that are probably military related at first. The Pentagon has its own "drone swarm", but they are probably not this sophisticated.
