Robin - Go for it. Here is a site for the relevant frequencies for maximum water resonance. The wavelength of a typical oven magnetron is unfortunately too long. For recycling water vapor in air- a practical resonance is 183 GHz - about 100 times better than the oven, which can be achieved with a simple Gunn diode.
