We had ours go up a bunch last year. It was annoying as it was like a boiling pot instead of a sharp increase. It went up little by little over the coarse of like a year. We complained and they brought it back down.
A neighbor of mine went up 2.5x on theirs and their provider *wouldn't* bring it back down.
