I'm trying to compile Tightvnc 1.2.4 under AIX 4.3.3. Everything but "Xvnc/programs/Xserver/hw/vnc" compiles. The problem are lines in the Makefile of the form "MakefileTarget()".
AIX-make complains "line XXX: make: 1254-055 Dependency line needs colon or double colon operator." Gmake simply says "Makefile:541: *** missing separator. Stop." When I add a ";" on those lines, AIX-make works. But the next ./configure overwrites my changes. Any hints?
