I believe it also looks for email addresses in any file on your computer (Internet Cached files too) then both sends to those addresses and uses those addresses as the return address. This way no one knows where it's really coming from unless you read through the email headers and track down the sending IP address, even thene it's only the gateway address. I've had a couple of nasty messages about sending out this virus when I didn't.
