I'm assuming that you've got two network cards in the Wingate machine and you
want to VNC through the box?

Attaching to the local side of the Wingate box shouldn't be a problem, just load
up WinVNC and install as per the instructions.

If you want to VNC the wingate box from the Internet.... then you'll need to add a
port forward to Wingate to allow 5900 (maybe 5800 too) to the Wingate
machine's local IP address. Port forwarding isn't the best way to go, but hey, it
works.

If you want to VNC the machine's behind the Wingate box.... well... that's more
problematic. Unless someone knows of a better way, I had to add a port forward
on 5901, 5902 for the pcs 192.168.128.1 and 192.168.128.2 etc...... so if you've
got a big range - it's going to be a pain.

A better way (IMO) would be to have SSH on a server behind the wingate
system. Forwards SSH (socket 443) to the server and use something like
tunnelier to set up tunnels to each of the remote systems as you wanted.

Hope that helps!

Later,
Richard
