I`m doing some test with a multi-vnc server. 10 video cards in a server and each video card has it own vncserver running. On vnc loggon the user policies are loaded and an application is started in that user context on one off the displays.
Reading some latest xp issues about the license policy of microsoft a`m a bit afraid that this is not permitted by MS. Does thoose restrictions are also for w2k (proffesional) -all video card together are 1 big virtual desktop (local view) 1 monitor connected = 1 device " the video cards are just drivers, not real video cards" -mouse and key events (from vncclient) are send as "a running light" to the applications (emulate 1 mouse 1 keyboard) Greetings Rudi --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
