Thanks a lot Alan.
This is what I wanted for a long time. I have a question, does your vncfb
compiles in Solaris ? Is it possible to get the same functionality with the
Xsun ?

Subject: VNC for XFree86 4.x

Just to let everyone know I've ported VNC to the XFree86 4.x
architecture, and it's a loadable module.

This is a port of the TightVNC 1.2.2 codebase.

There are two scenarios. The traditional Xvnc server supporting the
new XFree86 4 features like RENDER, and the vnc.so module which with
an accompanied modified display driver you can remote manage your
desktop. I've also added a vncfb driver that works the same as Xvnc.

It also supports multihead, although the vncviewer's will need support
adding for this.

Documentation, binaries & source is available at http://xf4vnc.sf.net.

Contributions are welcome.

Alan.
