We're noticing more Solaris apps which don't work with VNC, first of all HP
Openview and now CA Autosys. Right click doesn't get processed correctly,
making the app unusable.

The problem's been raised on the group before in Feb 2001 ->
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/archives/2001-02/0587.html and a year
later by the same person ->
http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/archives/2002-01/0606.html

Seem to understand the problem, where newer versions of VNC support 5 button
mice, and apps assume that right-clicks always come from the last available
button (button#5) rather than button#2.

Has anyone produced a patch for this, and if so, any word on it being
incorporated into future versions of VNC?

Thanks,

Steve
