Hello, I'm having a problem with vnc and desktops of 3+ not listening.. I'm using a redhat7.2 computer with vnc 3.3.3
If I were to execute the following commands: # vncserver :1 # vncserver :2 and portscan with nmap, I see this: 5801/tcp open vnc 5901/tcp open vnc-1 5902/tcp open vnc-2 6000/tcp open X11 6001/tcp open X11:1 6002/tcp open X11:2 If I do: # vncserver :3 ... I get: 5801/tcp open vnc 5901/tcp open vnc-1 5902/tcp open vnc-2 6000/tcp open X11 6001/tcp open X11:1 6002/tcp open X11:2 6003/tcp open X11:3 ... Why are only 1 and 2 listening and not anything above? --- Joe Topjian email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] web: http://terrarum.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
