On other option besides what Michael mentions - I *DON'T* know if it will allow
connecting to currently running software or not - is pcAnywhere 5.0x

It has not officially become "freeware" but you can actually download it from
the Symantec website; it also comes on the later pcAnywhere CD media (up through
at least 9.23).

An alternative that might work as well is to do a hunt on the Internet for a DOS
telnet server.
