On what platform? I can tell you about the general Win32 details.
When you install the WinVNC server, it automatically runs the mini-server for the Java applet. To use it, just direct a Java-capable browser to the correct port on the VNC server - which is - 5800+the display number you have the WinVNC server running on. It defaults to display ), so you would normally connect to port 5800. Here's an example browser address string for a server which is on IP 10.10.10.1 http://10.10.10.1:5800 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Orac" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, 2002-04-04 08:03 Subject: Java client setup. > Is there any documentation for setting up vnc to run from a browser applet > and what changes need to be made on the server side? > Thanks, > MaShaun Jones > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: > 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY > See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html > --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
