Hello.

Recently, we replaced Sun's standard X display server with Xvnc. The reason
was that,
even with the latest Sun patches, we could display no more than 45 clients
on :0 on
Sun's X display server before it would refuse new clients with "Maximum # of
clients
reached" errors. We verified this via an xterm loop shell script. This
despite the
fact that we learned that the standard maximum number of X clients is 128.

We are now seeing this same issue within Xvnc. I looked in the
documentation and
the FAQ and saw no mention of a maximum # of clients limit within
Xvnc-managed
displays. I need to know where such a limit is and whether or not it can be
adjusted within the source code. An answer is needed, as it will determine
whether or not we should scrap Sun's X display server altogether for
[X]vnc's
solution.

Our setup
---------
* Sun ultra 1 creator w/ 128 MB RAM running Solaris 8 w/ latest patches
* Xvnc 3.3.3r9
