In theory, yes. The following post ("Shared WTS Sessions Using VNC" by Bill Anglea) is the state of the art: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/archives/2002-03/0526.html There is still a long way to go to make it as usable as Citrix, and even longer to catch up on features, but it is possible. > 2. There are some people working on Java VNC servers which could possibly be extended to perform this function, but it wouldn't be easy.k > 3. <snip> > just wondering if adaptations to it like i have mentioned > above, to be distributed via GNU are planned? Another option would be to set up a Linux gateway system with rdesktop and Xvnc providing multiuser VNC access to WTS. -- Mike Ossmann, Tarantella/UNIX Engineer/Instructor Alternative Technology, Inc. http://www.alttech.com/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
