it's a unix server. That gives some calarity. And for you to get telnet
access.

Either check the vnc password file (in the ~/.vnc directory), has it's date
changed?
Or just force it with `vncpasswd` to the password you provide.

I hope Xvnc does read the file for every password check and has no internal
copy of the password.

A last idea is that the vncserver port is hyjacked by an other application.
Just an idea, i don't know how to recover from this.

An other thing is to give Xvnc a signal to stay alive (hence not -9..) Try
the -hup signal. Check your local manual pages on `kill` and `signal` for
details.
