One other thing that *some* people may have access to is the energy management systems in some buildings. They are *all* typically set up for remote access, and among the environmental systems they control are all of the switchgears on main electrical panels and even certain critical circuits. Not a common scenario, but when I did some work with an EMS company a few years back, they did remote power cycles for people on certain circuits occasionally. The problem is you also have to make sure you're on an electronically controlled circuit.
