I've set my router to forward port 443 to 443 on the machine I'm trying to
connect to. I set my VNC server to use display 60079.

When I try to connect using the Java client, I get the "RFB 003.003"
message. What does that message actually mean?
When I try to connect using the regular client I get "failed to connect to
server".

The changes that are being made to the home server are be done by someone
else who's company isn't blocking the ports. But since we've changed it
to display 60079, she gets "Page cannot be displayed" from her browser,
and I get the RFB message. Perhaps I should look into the SSH solution?

Thanks,
Nick

My guess is that the latter would be easier to set up because otherwise
the Java applet will probably try to connect to the wrong port.

No kidding? I'll have to check that out.
