I have had very few problems on my home LAN, but in the last half hour at work over our WAN I have been disconnected 5 times. I believe this is due to our pathetic backbone to our remote plants. I would suggest looking at your network utilization on the server. If your web server is too busy serving and the network load is high you could be very easily dropping packets and causing the viewer <--> server connection to close.

Everything was fine during that period. The problem has only happened starting from this month. The VNC automatically disconnects by itself without anyone touching it. The frequency is quite high. There are 3 times happened in this month. By the way, there are 3 visual basic executable files running in our server all the time (non-stop), because our server is a web server. Does anyone tell me what cause the WINVNC automatically disconnects? I am very appreciated for any kind of suggestions!
