I think it's better to use the XP's Terminal Services (Micro$oft calls it
"Remote Desktop Control") than VNC if you have multiple logged on computers.
The Terminal service is already started on the XP machine, and when you use
a terminal client to connect to that machine, it locks up the existing
user's workstation while you do your work. The ONLY reasons to use terminal
services (and these reasons might be sufficient for your purposes) instead
of VNC is integration with your domain users, it is already installed and
running, and you can "kick out" the user who is running that XP station
while you do your work.
Don't get me wrong, I love VNC. I keep it off the XP, though....currently,
anyway.

Hi,

How functional WinVNC server is with windows xp? How does it act with the
multiple logged in users situation and such.

Thanks,
