That's something for the os to find out, nothing for vnc...

You see: it's the os. As far as I know, all Micro$oft windowing operating
systems do some hardware check   during their boot. They need at least one
videocard so if they don't find one, they start crying...

Best tip: add a video card to the machine. does not matter how small. One
capable of the vnc geometry will do.

Alternate tip: (a whild guess): Configure the videocard as vga or svga and
see what you get.
Another tip, even worce: edit c:\boot.ini to force the vga mode there. This
gives a 'savemode' style display, should be no problem for servers.
