Hey, I'm here! :-) BTW, "Mac" is not an acronym, but a shortened form of "Macintosh". "MAC" is another computer-related term, and almost everyone with a computer has one. See here for definition: http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/M/MAC_address.html ;-) >>> Has anyone seen VNC running as a "hidden process" on a power >>> mac (9.x)? This issue was discussed a little while back, where Jonathan Morton (ChromiVNC server) made it clear that there is not a strong, 'legal' case for doing this. His reply, and much of the relevant preceding discussion, can be found in the VNC mailing list archive: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/archives/2001-12/0255.html There are also several options if you just want to "get it out of the way". List archives again: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/archives/2001-12/0265.html BTW, it's probably worth pointing out (every so often) that the VNC mailing list can be searched: http://www.uk.research.att.com/search.html Enjoy! ===================================================================== Adrian Umpleby [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://wrench.et.ic.ac.uk/adrian/ ===================================================================== vncPatches68k:- http://wrench.et.ic.ac.uk/adrian/software/vnc/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the line: 'unsubscribe vnc-list' in the message BODY See also: http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/intouch.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------
