BTW, "Mac" is not an acronym, but a shortened form of "Macintosh".

"MAC" is another computer-related term, and almost everyone with a
computer has one. See here for definition:

This issue was discussed a little while back, where Jonathan
Morton (ChromiVNC server) made it clear that there is not a
strong, 'legal' case for doing this.

His reply, and much of the relevant preceding discussion, can
