Hi We're having a problem with font mapping with VNC Server on HP-UX 11.0. We're using the HP-UX 10.20 VNC binaries of course because it doesn't seem to be possible to compile the source against HP 11.0 (looks like the imake templates are not compatible?) and the solution in the mailing lists is to use the binaries for 10.20 on the VNC website.
The problem is mapping Arial 10 bold (Windows dev environment) to VNC fonts. The font appears much enlarged and is truncated on our screens. Can anyone help with this? How and where would the arial font be mapped in VNC? Is there any way of making amendments to font mapping without having to compile the source against our HP-UX 11.0 O/S? If we set $DISPLAY to an X Windows Server session the fonts appear OK, so this is specific to VNC.
