Your suggestion did not help. The colors were not set the same..they are now but it still doesnt work..again the exe version of the viewer the colors look fine...but on the applet version..the colors are very distorted..brown looks a shade of pick..and gray looks greenish.. Just off hand, it seems like incompatiblities between the machines would make the viewer .exe behave in the same way as the applet version in IE 5.5
Any other suggestions??? ----- Original Message ----- From: "AceMiles, Inc." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Saturday, January 26, 2002 8:32 PM Subject: RE: color > I have had the same problem - make sure the colors are set the same on both machines > > (i.e. - 256 colors, 800x600 ) > > ----------------------------------------------------- > This e-mail is confidential and private. > Any tampering with this email is illegal. > ----------------------------------------------------- > > -----Original Message----- > From: Louise Gerhart [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: January 26, 2002 1:34 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: color > > I am experimenting the the applet version of the VNC viewer on Win98 accessing > a Window2k server; however, the colors are strangely distorted.
