Daniel,

You can do this by editting the xstartup file. I load VNC as root so mine is located 
in /root/.vnc. Just add the following line to the bottom of the file:
exec gnome-session &

For KDE it would be:
exec startkde &

Honestly, I'm not positive if you need the &, but the way I start VNC on mine I do.

enter? and how to define which user to enter as? when i type vncserver, the
number will increase. (eg. servername:1,servername:2) how to fix the
