What's wrong with making sure our employees aren't doing something against policy.

Yes, we have every-key-you-press-recorders and filters, etc. But this is better, AND
If they are having problems, we can fix them without going up 5 floors and doing it.

The employees sign a notice, see the icon in the corner, etc.

They know they are being watched.

Also - installing video cameras is just wrong... That is going too far.
(and is totally differant than what we want.)

Sounds like a variation of the hidden camera at work, which is becoming
popular (not with staff though).

Interestingly tangent, I recently built a web survey for a project, and as
it went live the project leader was with me and we could see the data being
written to the database, she felt that was invasive and voyeuristic.
