        Hi Mordecai;

        This sounds like a rights issue.

        Things to look for:

        Are you a member of the administrators group either locally on the
box, or in the domain?
        I found a quirk in MS outlook that sounds exactly the same as this
where you get "the program is not installed correctly, please re-run setup"
message when a non-administrator tries to log on for the first time.

        It seems the security settings in REGEDT32 are such that users have
no rights to run, modify or edit the registry keys required to register the
application in a multi-user OS environment.

        If you can fix this by joining the Administrators group then that is
all the fix you need.

        Email me off list if you need more help with this. I have been using
VNC at the office and at my home network for almost a year and a half and I
love it.

        Hope this helps.
