Recently had a similar problem... the network card was the culprit.. worked
but was flaky.

Subject: Problems with W2K

Hi,

I know that there are several answers & solutions for problems with
VNC on W2K, but I can4t find the "right answer" for this problem:

I installed VNC-Server on a W2K-Client as administrator. When I start
the VNC-Server as administror I can connect to this computer via
VNC-Client after authentication ...
When I start the VNC-Server as a "normal user" and want to connect,
I4m also asked for the password, but after entering it I only can see
the remote screen for one or two seconds befor I4m disconnected
without any message ...

Anybody got a hint ?
Best regards,
Christian

P.S.: I4m using a german W2K with SP2 and VNC 3.3.3 R9 on server and
client.
