I did not change the port.  It is a default install.

Good idea, though.

I am still having the problem with the vnc service not taking connections
after the first connect/disconnect.  It works fine for the first session, but
then after I disconnect, the vnc service does not accept client connections
anymore.  The service shows as running on the server, and if I try to run it
again, it says the service is already running, so I don't know what is going
on.

Hi Jeff,

Did you by any chance change the port on your Windows2000 machine?

What you can do is check which is the port assigned and re-try this
operation.

If you installed vnc and then changed the port after it started as a
service, I find that there are sometimes when he goes back to the original
port.
