Hello i have just started experimenting with vns server on redhat 7.1. what i would like is for the kde desktop to appear in the vnc client window when it connects. I have tried copying the contents of xinitrc into xstartup and now get an error message saying the KDE failed on the splash screen (or similar). previsouly i would simply get a grey backgound.
what do i need to enter exactly for the kde environment to start properly for the client?
