Hello, I'm preparing another packaging variation of TightVNC Unix sources -- an archive which includes required zlib abd JPEG libraries inside, and should not depend on external versions of these libraries. This could help TightVNC users who use systems where there is no zlib and/or JPEG libraries installed by default (e.g. commercial Unix systems).
Currently, I've placed a package here: http://www.tightvnc.com/tmp/tightvnc-1.2.2pre1_unixsrc+libs.tar.gz I'd like to ask people interested in such packaging, to help me test the archive. Please try to build it the usual way (xmkmf; make World; cd Xvnc; make World) and report the results to the TightVNC mailing list.
