It's an issue with available port numbers.  VNC uses 5900 for display 0,
5901 for display 1...5999 for display 99.

The problem happens because the client interprets any display number greater
than 99 as an explicit port to use.  Try entering the explicit port for
display numbers above 99, i.e. servername:6001 for display 101, 6002 for
display 102, etc.

The server docs explain how to get VNC to listen on a different port, so you
may be able to take a different approach with a little customization.
