Hello All, I am running Xvnc as a service in my xinetd directory and thus get the Xwindows login screen when I connect to my server.
I would like to be able to find out which port I am connected to so that I can use that information to have a different application start up after the user logs in which is based upon the port that they connected to. maybe this port information could be used in the Xsession to choose the application to start, but how can I find the port that the user connected to after they enter the Xvnc xdm login screen? I seem to remember a thread about being able to connect to a dissferent port and getting a different display manager. Does anyone have any information on this?
