Hello All, Hope that you are all doing well.
I think that this question might have been asked on the list before, but I am not sure when as I have not seen any references to it. I have 5 machines running either Irix, or Solaris and have installed Xvnc onto a solaris machine called "rem6". What happens is that when I try to connect to it using vncviewer, it seems as though one of the other machines get connected to and it also seems like the machine that I get a connection with is the one that answers first. For example on trying to use vncviewer on one attempt will connect to REM8 ( an Irix machine) via REM6 and at other times I get connected to REM2 (a Solaris machine) via REM6. I also never get connected to the REM6 login screen. I have heard that there is a way to set up the Xwindows CHOOSER so that when I connect to REM6, the users will be presented with a list of possible machines to connect including REM6. Does anyone know an easy way to do this or have had experience with this?
