Did you run "winvnc -install" to run vnc as a service on these servers?? (if it's running in app mode it will disconnect you when you log off).

We currently are running RAdmin on many of our NT/2000 servers. I like the fact that VNC works relatively well and is free. One problem that I still have and am hoping to find an answer. I've read the FAQ and haved searched the mailing list archives for an answer to my question and have found none that are acceptable. The biggest problem that I'm having is when I lock my remote Server screen my connection is dropped. I have read that I should set my screen resolution to that Winnt's startup resolution, which in my case is 640X480 256 colors. When I make this change, VNC no longer disconnects, however, my applications won't display completely on the screen. This means that I'm left with multiple connects/disconnects, which will not fly in my environment. Is there a way to change NT's logon resolution to at least 800X600 or is there a fix with VNC regarding this resolution issue. RAdmin does not appear to have this problem. Is this an issue that is being looked into? Has anyone found a way around this problem?
