Hi Dietmar, Sorry for the misleading error message box. It wasn't "VNC Authentication failed!" but "Connection Closed".
I did what you suggested but to no avail. I ran the "show deafult settings" and entered the password and I used the Service Helper in the system tray to enter the same password. Regards.
