Hi. I agree that the ChromiVNC server for the Mac is MUCH more stable than the current AT&T one. One feature that I miss, though, is being able to connect to it via a web browser.
In his instruction he says to point the http server to a file index.html by changing the text in the preferences file. The ChromiVNC server only seems to recognize a file named "index.html". I know nothing about JAVA, so I'm trying to use the AT&T JAVA source, who's index file ends with .vnc (e.g. index.vnc). When it rename it to index.html and try to connect to VNC's http server the applet fails with an error (java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: vncviewer) and I get the parameters $USER's $DESKTOP desktop ($DISPLAY) across the top of my browser. Any suggestions? Thanks! Bruce __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make a great connection at Yahoo!
